It includes advanced knowledge about abdominal and pelvic floor muscle function and morphology; as well as the reliability, validity and clinical relevance of different ultrasound techniques.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
- Transducer positions to scan the pelvic floor
- Scanning and understanding pelvic floor muscle function
- Measurement of most relevant landmarks
- Sonographic assessment of the abdominal wall function
- Utilization of ultrasound as a biofeedback tool for the management of pelvic floor disorders
