Robert Wonink

Podiatry Trainer

Robert studied podiatry at the Academy for Podiatry. He then further specialized as a podiatry teacher. In 1991 he started teaching anatomy of foot and ankle, biomechanics, pediatric podiatry and orthopedic shoe technology.

In 2004, Robert founded Podiatry Care Netherlands. In 2007 he specialized in rheumatism and ultrasonography. Since 2009, Robert has been teaching musculoskeletal ultrasound of the foot and ankle and he joined SonoSkills in 2018.

Since 2017, Robert holds a fellowship in the OMERACT FUSS RA Group in Leeds, UK. He is also a member of the Ultrasound section of the NVMBR (Dutch Association for Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy). In November 2018 he has published a research paper in the Journal of Reumatology as co-author on the subject of Ultrasound of Subtalar Joint Synovitis in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Since April 2011, Robert has been working as an ultrasonographer with Dr Van Dalen MD, she is an orthopedic surgeon specialized in foot and ankle in the outpatient clinic of Bergman Clinics, Naarden.
