Rob Epping

Trainer

In 2017 Rob joined the SonoSkills trainer team. He studies physiotherapy and manual therapy and eventually a MSc diploma from the Vrije Universiteit in Brussels in 2014. His thesis was published in an international peer-reviewed journal. Rob’s first ultrasound experience dates back to 2009 and because of his increasing interest and belief of the possibilities of musculoskeletal ultrasound he followed many courses on the subject. He has a broad interest in the application of MSK ultrasound in the areas of diagnostics and ultrasound guided procedures.

Rob teaches national and international Level 1 courses for SonoSkills and is co-developer of the pathology course together with Saulius Rutkauskas. He works as a manual therapist and sonographer in primary healthcare settings. Rob also works in the secondary healthcare setting together with the orthopedic surgeon and rehabilitation doctor and performs diagnostic ultrasound scans and supports ultrasound guided procedures. He’s also board member of a local network of sonographer in the south of the Netherlands.

Collaborating and supporting each other for optimal patient and student satisfaction is one of the core beliefs of Rob.

When he’s not working, Rob spends time running, playing piano and traveling with his family.
