Musculoskeletal Ultrasound of the Temporomandibular Joint
This course is designed to present information regarding the diagnosis and management of Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) Disorders. The course will consist of a series of lectures and case presentations. The information provided in this course will allow the participants to understand the dentist's role in managing complex orofacial pain problems.

SCHEDULE & TOPICS
Part 1
We will discuss TMJ Anatomy, biomechanics , overview of TMJ pathologies, Clinical examination/Imaging techniques for TMJ
Part 2
We will discuss selection criteria for appropriate radiographic techniques in your practice, an update on radiological anatomy of TMJ relevant to different imaging techniques (USG imaging) and clinical case presentations.
Part 3
Assess the need for appropriate imaging method, prescribe a scan for their patients Imaging of the TM joint and surroundings. What is needed, what is not?
