Target audience

This course is ideal for healthcare professionals (midwifes, gynaecologists, physiotherapists) seeking to enhance their diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities in pelvic floor care using non-invasive imaging techniques.

Hands-on training focus

Special attention is given to developing practical ultrasound skills. Dynamic pelvic floor ultrasound requires hand-eye coordination, real-time interpretation, and optimal use of machine settings. This course includes extensive hands-on sessions with practical tips and tricks to improve image quality and diagnostic accuracy, ensuring participants leave with greater confidence and proficiency.

Peer-to-peer practice

To ensure optimal learning, participants will be required to perform and receive transperineal ultrasound examinations on each other during the practical sessions. This peer-to-peer practice allows for realistic skill application and helps build both technical competence and patient communication confidence in a safe and supervised environment.
