Ole Ackermann

Dr. Ackermann is Professor at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Rurh-Bochum University. He is also a practicing orthopedic surgeon with his own clinic in Duisburg, Germany. He is one of the pioneers who started using ultrasound as a diagnostic tool to assess bone fractures. This has led to numerous studies he and his colleagues published on this topic. In 2019 he published "Fracture Sonography, A Comprehensive Guide" with Springer as a synthesis of all his previous publications and clinical applications.
