Dr. Juerd Wijntjens

Neurologist

Dr. Wijntjes has been working as a neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist at the department of neurology at Radboud UMC, Nijmegen, the Netherlands since April 2017. He has a lot to do with the care of patients with muscle diseases at the neurology outpatient clinic, but also with performing diagnostics for muscle diseases at the clinical neurophysiology department.

In terms of scientific research, Dr. Wijntjes is involved in the development of new techniques within muscle ultrasound and their usefulness in muscle diseases. He is also part of a team of several neurologists that provides national training in the field of ultrasound of nerves.
