
Sonographer
Lisa Hackett is an internationally recognized ultrasound educator, researcher, and clinician with more than 30 years of experience in diagnostic ultrasound. She began her career in Sydney in 1993, working alongside hand surgeons during the early development of musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Lisa holds a Master of Science in Research from the University of New South Wales, is a Fellow of the Australasian Sonographers Association, and an Accredited Registered Sonographer. She has authored and co-authored more than 55 peer-reviewed publications and serves as Associate Editor of the Australian Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine.
With over 25 years of teaching experience, Lisa is passionate about translating ultrasound imaging into practical clinical decision-making. Her expertise spans musculoskeletal ultrasound, orthopaedics, sports medicine, rheumatology, and facial aesthetics.
