Bursae: Is Fluid Truly Your Friend? – An MSK Ultrasound Approach
This 90-minute online SonoClass will discuss several bursae in the upper and lower extremity: functional and topographic anatomy, histology, and pathophysiology. To strengthen your ultrasound skills we will take an MSK ultrasound approach and discuss the sonoanatomy, technical scanning details and sonopathology. Furthermore, we will discuss a few ultrasound-guided injection techniques to target those bursae.

- Discovering the topographic anatomy of the upper and lower extremity bursae discussed.
- Learning some common pathologies, injuries and pathophysiologic mechanisms.

- Seeing a variety of pathology bursal cases in the hip joint i.e. bursal thickening, bursitis, calcific bursitis, migration of calcification, proliferative bursitis, etc.
- Learning how to perform the most common ultrasound-guided injection techniques to target the ventral knee.
